Situation

We were asked to create the graphic identity for the new commerce Hornstull Handelsplats. The project included everything from logo and typo to the complete look and feel. There was just one problem: The new commerce was not welcomed by the neighborhood. What to do?

Solution

To solve the situation with an unwanted change in Hornstull, we realized that the new commerce needed to harmonize and blend naturally with its surrounding. Inspired by the area itself we created an unpolished and playful expression. For example, the logo was designed to feel like it had always been there: rugged, clean, and above all – simplistic.
